Simulated trading ledgers

Simulated trading ledgers are available for variety of purposes such as testing trading strategies or running competitions between club members. Any transactions entered into simulated trading ledgers are excluded from taxation treatment, total assets value calculations and the Unit Valuation System.
To create a simulated trading ledger, firstly navigate to the LEDGERS screen using the ACCOUNTS drop down navigation menu as illustrated:
Now click on the simulated tab as illustrated:
To add a simulated trading ledger, start by clicking on the 'add/edit' button on the simulated tab as illustrated:
Now enter the name of the ledger e.g. a club member's name if running a competition, or the name of the strategy you are testing; select the currency that you want to simulate your trade in; then either click on the 'add' button to create the simulated trading ledger, or alternatively click on the import button if you wish to import historical investment transactions.
You can edit existing simulated trading ledgers by clicking on the 'edit' button associated with a specific ledger as illustrated:
When you are finished creating or editing the simulated ledgers, click on the 'done' button.
